Summary
Enel, born under the sign of Taurus on May 6 with type S blood, stands at an imposing 8'9" (266 cm) as the self-proclaimed God of Skypiea and leader of Enel's Warriors. His transformation via the Goro Goro no Mi, a Logia-type Devil Fruit, solidifies his delusion of invincibility and divine immortality. He views himself as a supreme being entitled to do as he pleases, resulting in a fearless, childish, and hedonistic demeanor. His daily life is relaxed and pampered, often spent sleeping or eating his favorite apples while being served by women, punctuated only by his duties to smite the natives of Skypeia. In combat, Enel remains detached and amused, effortlessly absorbing attacks and humiliating opponents to prove his power. He once slept mid-fight against Kamakiri to demonstrate his supposed immortality. Completely devoid of moral qualms, Enel regards the lives of others as worthless compared to his own. He casually kills thousands, viewing it as a divine mandate, and laughs as he destroys Skypeia. His insanity peaks when he launches himself toward the moon, convinced it is the home of God, which he identifies as himself. Prior to Luffy’s arrival, his Goro Goro no Mi abilities and Mantra skills made his god complex appear legitimate. However, once Luffy began gaining the upper hand, Enel’s arrogance crumbled. He incapacitated Luffy to eliminate the threat and reclaim his status, after which he acted cowardly, desperately trying to avoid further confrontation. Beyond his combat prowess, Enel possesses extensive knowledge of mechanics and technology. He personally designed his flying ark, Maxim, and understands its inner workings thoroughly, allowing him to repair any damage. He also engineered a stormcloud production system known as Deathpiea, an electrical power grid, and a Jet Dial failsafe for the ark to ensure operation even if the main engines fail.
