Ibaraki-Douji
Summary
Ibaraki-Douji is one of the malevolent oni that terrorized Kyoto during the Heian era. Serving as a subordinate to Shuten-Douji on Mt. Ooe, she encountered Watanabe-no-Tsuna when Minamoto-no-Raikou dispatched his retainers to vanquish the oni residing on the mountain. In the narrative of Rashomon, she manifests in the guise of a stunningly beautiful woman.
