Summary
Damuel serves as a young laynoble knight and acts as the personal bodyguard for Rozemyne. His history with the girl formerly known as Myne began during a mission to exterminate trombe, where he was tasked with protecting her. The assignment ended in failure when Shikikoza injured Myne, an outcome Damuel attributes to the fact that Shikikoza held a higher social status than he did, preventing him from intervening effectively. Over time, Damuel develops a profound admiration for Myne. He is initially stunned by her altruistic support of the orphanage, finding it inconceivable that someone of her commoner background would act out of personal interest rather than mere survival.
