Summary
After his son Soichiro passed away just six months into his marriage to Kyoko, Otonashi remained deeply fond of her, having welcomed her into the family with great enthusiasm. To help Kyoko cope with her grief, he allowed her to remain living in his home and appointed her as the manager of Maison Ikkoku.
