Crona
Summary
Crona serves as Ragnarok’s meister and was originally under Medusa’s control to harvest any soul they encountered, regardless of moral alignment. A deeply naive and submissive individual, Crona is frequently subjected to noogies and food-related threats by Ragnarok. While Crona dislikes combat, Medusa typically implants spells that heighten their aggression. Their blood has been entirely replaced with black blood, granting physical protection and healing abilities. This transformation occurred when Ragnarok, originally a normal weapon, was melted into the black blood prior to the transfusion, resulting in their unique siamese nature. Enrolled in trial courses at Shibusen to learn proper meister techniques, Crona struggles to adapt to social interactions due to Medusa’s abusive treatment, often cowering in corners when nervous. Through Maka’s help, who can tune into their soul wavelength to provide calm and understanding, Crona is slowly learning how to interact with others. In battle, Crona utilizes attacks exclusively in conjunction with Ragnarok. These include Screech Beta, a powerful slash shaped like a mouth; Screech Alpha, which launches the same slash as a projectile with explosive effects; and Screech Gamma, a multi-slashing assault that releases successive sound waves accompanied by blood trails. Crona’s gender has not been officially announced.
