Summary
Ieyasu was a childhood companion of Tatsumi and Sayo who embarked on a quest to the capital to secure funds for their home village. He was characterized as a known troublemaker with a notably poor sense of direction. During their travels, the group was ambushed by night bandits, which resulted in their separation. Ieyasu remained with Sayo and was subsequently invited to Aria’s mansion. There, they were served a meal that rendered them unconscious, after which Ieyasu was administered drugs that afflicted him with the "Lubora disease." He survived long enough for Tatsumi and Night Raid to arrive at the location where he, Sayo, and other individuals lured by Aria and her family were being held captive. Ieyasu appeared relieved when Tatsumi killed Aria, but he ultimately succumbed to the final stages of his illness. He wielded an axe and was presumed to possess combat skills comparable to Tatsumi’s, as the three had trained together since childhood.
