Sasha Croitsef is an operative for Annihilatus, a division of the Russian Orthodox Church dedicated to hunting down spirits that should not exist. She is introduced in Toaru Majutsu no Index, with her presence hinted at early in the series during the Angel Fall Arc, although her first actual appearance occurs much later. Known for her fondness for alcohol, Sasha is depicted as an avid drinker who does not hesitate to consume Brandy during work hours, despite regulations forbidding such behavior. Her distinctive appearance features a red hood and cape that conceal her long, curly blond hair, along with matching pointed red shoes. Her torso and limbs are adorned with leather belts, and she wears metal braces on her ankles, wrists, and waist. These braces serve a practical purpose, allowing her to carry her eccentric arsenal. Beneath this gear, she wears a minimal layer of form-fitting clothing that covers her torso and arms up to the wrists, resembling thigh-high socks and accentuating her figure. This revealing attire was imposed on her by her female superior, Vassilisa, who forced her to wear the outfit as part of her own personal hobby.
