Summary
Midvalley the Hornfreak is a violent musician capable of using his saxophone, Sylvia, to synchronize sound waves with pain to inflict physical damage. He can also neutralize sounds by playing counter-frequencies. Originally, he and his band killed for money until Knives found them, killing everyone except Midvalley. Disliking both Legato and Knives, he attempts to kill Legato but is quickly killed himself. Legato uses Midvalley's body to attack Hoppered, after which he is buried with his saxophone on his gravestone. In the anime, he has a smaller role, mainly acting as Legato's bodyguard until fighting Vash, where he kills himself by overloading his saxophone.
