Osakabe, Toujuurou
Summary
Toujuurou Osakabe is a scientist driven to madness by repeated failures to develop a weapon capable of defeating the Fog. He eventually concludes that the root of the issue is the inherent limitations of the human brain. This realization led him to pursue research aimed at creating a superhuman, a project that resulted in the creation of Makie Osakabe. The experiment was extremely costly, as Makie was the sole survivor among the 109 fetuses used in the process.
