Bucciarati, Bruno
Summary
Bruno Bucciarati, an Italian male with blood type A, is a member of the criminal organization Passione who possesses the Stand Sticky Fingers. Standing 178 cm tall, or 185 cm in the anime adaptation, he was born on September 27, 1980. He first appears interrogating Giorno Giovanna regarding the death of a fellow gang member, known as "Weepy Eye" Luka. After Giorno convinces him to assist in overthrowing the leader of Passione, Bruno eventually defects from the organization. He leads a group of rogue members in a rebellion against the Boss, who is later revealed to be a man named Diavolo. Born into poverty in a fishing village, Bruno admired his father for his deep love for their family. When his father became entangled in the drug trade and suffered severe injuries, Bruno protected him by killing the assassins sent to eliminate them. This act propelled him into a life of crime, yet he maintained a kind personality within Passione, often assisting those in need. His Stand, Sticky Fingers, allows him to create fully functional zippers on any surface it touches. This ability can be applied to inanimate objects, such as walls, to create passages, or even to living humans. Bruno can also use the power on himself. The Stand serves offensive purposes as well, enabling him to disassemble objects or mismatch parts. In battle, Bruno delivers his catchphrase while Sticky Fingers pummels opponents with rapid punches. He chants "Ari ari ari" during the assault and concludes with "Arrivederci," which means goodbye in Italian.
