His entry into the tournament was facilitated by the team's owner, who allowed him to battle Kurama while the fox demon was unconscious following his previous match. Although Yusuke intended to violate the rules to protect his friend, Risho intervened and commanded Bakken to cease his assault. Bakken subsequently faced Yusuke in a direct confrontation, though his defeat came swiftly. He possesses the ability to manipulate water, utilizing the dense fog generated by his sweat to obscure his presence. This tactic proves ineffective, however, when his sweat becomes cold, a condition that occurred after Yusuke struck his ribs. He is classified as a D class demon.
