Kira, Sakuya
Summary
At the age of six, Sakuya perished in a car accident alongside his mother, only to be saved by the spirit of Alexiel’s seven-bladed Holy Sword, Nanatsusaya. They struck a bargain wherein the sword would control Sakuya’s body, allowing him to grow intelligent and read extensively, while Sakuya coerced the spirit into making his father hate him, ensuring his father would feel no grief upon his death. Within Sakuya dwells the soul of the demon Lucifer, which manifests as Nanatsusaya. This sword has protected Alexiel through every one of her lives out of love for her. Although Lucifer eventually reawakens, he retains memories of Kira Sakuya and Nanatsusaya. Despite his efforts to suppress these recollections, he still considers Setsuna a friend. He wields a sword named Shiranui.
