Summary
Hachiken Shingo is the older brother of Yuugo, who initially gained admission to the University of Tokyo, widely regarded as the most prestigious institution in Japan. However, he soon dropped out after realizing he was merely fulfilling his father’s dream of having a son attend the university, choosing instead to pursue his own ambition of becoming a great cook. He travels across the country to refine his culinary skills, though his results are often questionable. Despite Yuugo’s hostility toward him, Hachiken frequently visits Ooezo to see his younger brother.
