Ginshu

Summary

Ginshu serves as one of the four Holy Ones and holds the title of High Priestess at the Sakigami shrine. He is bound by a curse from the demon Byakuroku that forces him to die and be reborn each day. Although Ginshu is actually genderless, he is addressed as a Princess due to the shrine's traditions, under which he was dressed and referred to as female even before acquiring his ageless form. It is later discovered that he is not the true High Priestess but rather a decoy created to safeguard the real one, Shinshu. Ginshu possesses poison blood that proves fatal to demons, causing them to die if they attempt to eat him. While it was initially believed that he was cursed by Byakuroku, the truth is that his spirit was placed inside Byakuroku's body by Bonten to preserve both of them after a battle that would have otherwise resulted in their mutual deaths. Prior to this transformation, Ginshu was male.
