Kitajima, Haru
Summary
Haru is Maya Kitajima's mother and operates a Chinese restaurant in Yokohama. She holds a dim view of her daughter's potential, believing Maya to be useless and incapable of succeeding as an actress. When Maya flees home to enroll at Tsukikage's school, Haru attempts to force her return, but Maya resists. Although it appears Haru permanently abandons her daughter, she continues to keep Maya in her thoughts despite their separation.
