Summary
Leo Regulus, known as the Gold Saint of Leo, stands as the youngest among the Gold Saints in the Lost Canvas series. Hailing from Greece, he is portrayed as a rebellious yet brilliant combatant with exceptional battlefield perception. His journey begins in Jamir, where he helps release the Ship of Hope to travel to the Lost Canvas, leading to a confrontation with Behemoth Violate. He subsequently engages in a bloody battle against Wyvern Rhadamanthys, who wields part of Hades’ divine power. The conflict turns personal when Rhadamanthys kills Regulus’s father, Ilias, driving the young Saint to seek vengeance. Regulus is widely recognized as a "great genius," capable of delivering up to 100,000,000 hits per second. He shares a similar age with his training partner, Unicorn Yato, and was trained under Sagittarius Sisyphus. He holds the unique distinction of being the most exceptional rider in history, capable of performing the Athena Exclamation alone. This feat was achieved after training with Aries Shion and Sagittarius Sisyphus, allowing him to unleash the technique without violating the code of one-on-one combat, thereby preserving his honor against Rhadamanthys. He also discovered the Zodiac Clamation, a cataclysmic move that summons the attacks of all twelve Gold Saints, which he used to demonstrate the true strength of humanity to his foe. In the current era, the Leo Gold Saint is Aioria, the younger brother of Sagittarius Aiolos. Alongside Shaka and the protagonist of the episode G, Aioria is considered one of the strongest of his generation. Regulus’s primary techniques include Lightning Plasma, a series of instantaneous laser attacks derived from his Cosmo that are impossible to dodge, and Lightning Bolt, which creates an air rift charged with high electric current.
