Summary
Ichika is one of the Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets, a group of five small mermaids who are friends with Keimi. She has red hair and wears a green hat with white polka-dots, a white top, and a tail striped in green. Along with her sisters Nika, Sanka, Yonka, and Yonka Two, Ichika participates in a unique conversational routine. Ichika begins by making a regular statement, which Nika repeats with excitement. Sanka then denies the original claim, Yonka questions its validity, and Yonka Two dismisses its importance. For instance, if Ichika says Luffy is a pirate, the sisters respond with an exclamation, a denial, a question, and a dismissal respectively. Aside from this speech pattern, the quintuplets are cheerful, friendly, and stick close together. Ichika made her first appearance in Chapter 608 and Episode 527.
