Summary
Calius, also known as Findorr Carias, is a member of Sōsuke Aizen’s army and one of Barragan’s five Fracción. Standing 180 cm tall and weighing 67 kg, he was born on June 27th under the Cancer zodiac sign and wears number 24. An alternate romanization of his name is Findore Klarius. Among Barragan’s subordinates, Findor is the most composed, though he displays significant arrogance and confidence in his abilities. He is notably chatty, earning the nickname "chatterbox" from Shūhei Hisagi, and frequently says "exacta" to reflect his belief that life consists of difficult problems where correct choices determine fate. He is intelligent and calculating, capable of estimating the power levels of seated Shinigami officers and replicating them during combat. His hollow mask covers the upper half of his face with a smooth helmet, eye holes, and a row of teeth stitched across his chin like a strap, while his hollow hole remains invisible. His Arrancar attire resembles that of a Spanish soldier, customized with shoulder pads, knee-high boots, and knife-like protrusions on his sleeves that extend over his hands. Findor first appears during the battle in the fake Karakura Town alongside Barragan and the rest of his Fracción to fight the Gotei 13. After Aizen, Ichimaru, and Tōsen are blocked by Yamamoto’s shikai, Barragan takes command and orders Findor to summon four gigantic hollows to destroy the pillars protecting the real Karakura Town in Soul Society. These hollows are defeated by Shūhei Hisagi, Izuru Kira, Yumichika Ayasegawa, and Ikkaku Madarame. In response, Barragan dispatches each Fracción member to a different pillar, comparing the defenders to ants and his forces to dragons. Findor is sent to fight Shūhei Hisagi. Initially, Hisagi notes that Findor’s power seems equivalent to that of a fifth seat. Findor claims to have passed this test and declares he will fight at a Lieutenant level. Using the knife on his wrist, he breaks off fragments of his mask to exponentially increase his power, eventually breaking off half of it to achieve Lieutenant-level strength. During their duel, Findor realizes Hisagi is not fighting at the expected Lieutenant level, as he is the only one showing signs of fatigue. To end the battle, Findor releases his zanpakutō. After further combat, he forces Hisagi to release his own zanpakutō, surprising Findor. He then removes 90% of his mask, claiming his power has reached Captain-level, but is ultimately defeated by Hisagi. His current fate is unknown, though he is presumed dead. Findor can summon hollows by whistling, an ability likely shared by other high-ranking Arrancar or Menos. His mask acts as a power inhibitor, similar to Kenpachi’s eye-patch, and breaking it with his wrist knife allows him to scale up his strength from a fifth-seat Shinigami level to a Lieutenant level when half is broken. His zanpakutō is named Pinza Aguda, with the release command "Engrave in the water surface" (minamo ni kizame). In its sealed form, it resembles a Spanish épée or rapier. Upon release, it wraps around his right arm to form a giant crustacean claw. In this form, Findor can fire high-pressure water streams from the claw, powerful enough to easily cut through buildings.
