Summary
Kabuto Yakushi is a male shinobi born on February 29, standing 176.2 cm tall in Part I and growing to 177 cm in Part II, with a constant weight of 65 kg and AB blood type. He ages from 19 to 20 during the first part of the series and reaches 23 to 24 in the second. Raised by Nonou Yakushi, an adopted mother who was a chief medical officer of the Konoha Medical Unit Squad, he possesses Earth Release and Water Release chakra affinities. Initially a spy for various nations and groups like the Akatsuki, he eventually served Orochimaru as a personal medic, assistant, and right-hand man. He leveraged his past connections to gather intelligence, notably infiltrating the Chunin Exams as a Konoha ninja. His personality is enigmatic, oscillating between a polite, lighthearted youth and a sadistic maniac who enjoys psychological manipulation. Although he generally obeys Orochimaru, he occasionally heals the snake sannin’s enemies or engages in casual conversation with Naruto Uzumaki. Orochimaru suspects Kabuto may secretly oppose him. A prodigy comparable to Kakashi Hatake and capable of easily dispatching ANBU members, Kabuto’s combat prowess stems from medical ninjutsu refined through Orochimaru’s experiments. He can reactivate and grow cells in concentrated areas to heal instantly or keep test subjects alive for extended periods. He can also reanimate corpses as allies or decoys. Tsunade noted that his skills surpassed her own at his age. Dissatisfied with his history of serving others, Kabuto integrated Orochimaru’s remains into his body after his master’s defeat to gain power and autonomy. However, this integration has caused the remains to attempt to take over his body.
