Summary
Takeshi Onimaru serves as the primary antagonist of Yaiba. Once a talented high school swordsman, he intensified his training after a duel with Yaiba ended in a draw. During this period, he discovered a hidden basement housing statues of the Thunder God and the Devil Wind, which concealed a specific sword. Upon wielding the Devil Wind blade, he was possessed, sprouting horns and transforming into the embodiment of the Devil Wind. Although he initially used this weapon, he later surrendered it to Yaiba after obtaining the Mao-Ken Black Moon sword. Consistent with his role as a villain, Onimaru commands legions of faceless minions that appear as humanoid black figures featuring eyes, mouths, and a single horn protruding from the center of their heads.
