David possesses knowledge of Saya’s past life and intends to utilize her capabilities in the fight against the chiroptera, carrying a cross-shaped red crystal item. David maintains a stoic and serious demeanor, characterized by a cold personality. Nevertheless, he assumes an informal guardianship over Kai and Riku, playing a crucial role in helping Kai accept Saya’s true nature and facilitating Riku’s transformation into a chevalier. He appears particularly invested in guiding Kai’s development into a strong man capable of supporting Saya and Riku as their brother, despite their unconventional existences.
