Summary
Once a Japanese man, he was reincarnated into a mysterious sword that lay dormant on a pedestal within hidden ruins. Upon awakening, he quickly mastered self-movement and combat using magic, discovering the power to absorb monster cores to enhance his strength. After gaining sufficient power, boredom drove him to leave the ruins and explore new lands, but he became trapped in a mana-depleting zone for several weeks, losing his freedom. A black cat beastkin slave fleeing a monster found him by chance, and he helped her escape, leading them to form a partnership. He bestowed the name Fran upon the girl and established a contract sharing his abilities, while she named him Shishou. He later summoned a familiar named Urushi, who became Fran’s companion as well. Additionally, he acquired the ability to create doppelgangers that resemble his former human self.
