The main trailer for Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dear Friend has arrived, giving fans their strongest glimpse yet at how the long-running franchise will reach its theatrical conclusion this fall.

Studio CloverWorks and director Sōichi Masui return with the core creative team intact, including screenwriter Masahiro Yokotani, character designer Satomi Tamura, and composers fox capture plan. The preview highlights returning leads Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa and Asami Seto as Mai Sakurajima, while featuring the new song "Turn the World Upside Down" by Tōko Kirishima and teasing resolutions to the story's lingering puberty syndrome mysteries and alternate realities.

Adapting the final novel volume by Hajime Kamoshida, the film follows previous theatrical hits and the 2025 university arc television season. It aims to deliver a definitive close to a series known for blending supernatural drama, romance, and sharp emotional insight since its 2018 debut.
