As an inventor, Gari-Gari creates gadgets to facilitate his crimes. Since acquiring the site would displace the trio, they repeatedly interfere with his plans. Gari-Gari employs two subordinates: Black, a cat gangster who frequently shoots at Punch and his friends, and Nyu, a strong but simple-minded pig.

Following an extraterrestrial assault, a youth named Jun is saved by beings from another world who bestow upon him extraordinary abilities and enlist him in their Space Patrol force. The show underwent a title change to Patrol Hopper Uchukko Jun for its concluding eighteen episodes.
