Synopsis
After obtaining the Number One headband that marks him as the strongest warrior, Afro spends most of his days in peace, though his nights are troubled by nightmares. His calm life is shattered when Jinno and Sio—his former friends from long ago—steal the headband and his father's remains. Challenged by Sio to put on the Number Two headband again and seek revenge against them, Afro sets off on another journey as the wearer of a headband that makes him a target for anyone who wants to kill him. Afro Samurai: Resurrection follows Afro as he fights a new series of battles against all kinds of enemies, wading through a sea of corpses so he can once again satisfy his unending thirst for revenge.
