Synopsis
Zhuge Kongming was renowned as one of the greatest military strategists of China's Three Kingdoms period in the third century. After leading his forces through many brutal victories, Kongming falls severely ill during the Battle of Wuzhang Plains. The exhaustion and regret from the endless war finally overwhelm him, and as he takes his last breath, Kongming wishes that he might be reborn in a more peaceful time. That wish is granted, and Kongming awakens in modern-day Tokyo with a younger body and all his memories intact. Thrust into this unfamiliar world, he stumbles into a nightclub and encounters Eiko Tsukimi, a budding singer whose performance instantly enchants him. Taking pity on his confusion, Eiko guides Kongming and teaches him about the present-day world, sparking his interest in contemporary music. Recognizing Eiko's immense talent, Kongming promises to make her known to the world and soon becomes her manager. As expected, the music industry is harsh on anyone who makes even the smallest mistake. Nevertheless, Kongming is determined to achieve his goals—even if it means employing the military tactics he famously used in his past life!
