Synopsis
Koyuki Honda, like her classmates, anticipates her graduation, yet she stands alone as her sole surviving family member, her brother, passed away years ago. While mourning at his grave, she encounters two brothers, Kiri and Victor Putin, pursuing a peculiar entity. Although they claim to be filming a movie, Victor sparks Koyuki’s interest in the cemetery’s clock tower legend: wishing beneath it at midnight during a full moon reverses time, enabling the recovery of lost things. When Koyuki attempts this wish, she discovers the dark reality that the tale is a trap set by time demons known as Horologues, who feed on human regret. Victor exploits Koyuki’s sorrow as bait to draw out a demon. Kiri and Victor reveal themselves as Chronos Rulers, warriors battling these entities using the Oath of Time, a device capable of manipulating temporal flow. After the demon is vanquished, Koyuki finds peace, but the brothers must persist in their quest to eliminate Horologues and protect humanity from further sorrow.
