Synopsis
Twenty-six-year-old Hiroto Suwa, his wife Naho, and their former high school friends—Takako Chino, Azusa Murasaka, and Saku Hagita—gather at Mt. Koubou for a cherry blossom viewing. As they watch the sunset, they reflect on Kakeru Naruse, a friend who passed away a decade earlier. Still grieving, they decide to visit Kakeru's old residence, where his grandmother reveals the truth behind his death. Haunted by regret, Suwa and the group write letters to their sixteen-year-old selves in an attempt to find peace. Armed with the knowledge from his future self's letter, the teenage Suwa gains the opportunity to alter the course of events. What decisions will he make? What outcome will unfold in this rewritten timeline?
