Synopsis
This narrative focuses on Uesugi Kazuya, his twin older brother Tatsuya, and Asakura Minami. Kazuya is beloved by his community for his talent, diligence, and role as the ace pitcher of his middle school baseball squad. In contrast, Tatsuya is a hopeless slacker who has long accepted a background role, allowing Kazuya to shine despite Tatsuya potentially possessing greater innate ability. Minami serves as their beautiful childhood friend and quasi-sibling, treating both boys with equal regard. While society, including Tatsuya, expects Kazuya and Minami to unite as the ideal couple, Tatsuya’s perspective shifts over time. He comes to understand that while he is prepared to sacrifice everything for his brother, he refuses to surrender Minami to Kazuya. The plot follows Tatsuya’s struggle to establish his own identity against his celebrated younger sibling, exploring how this tension impacts their dynamic with Minami and the brothers’ shared efforts to fulfill her lifelong aspirations.
