Synopsis
A folk-tale-inspired adventure follows a spirited boy as he searches for the Water of Life. He embarks on this journey after discovering that the Water of Life is required to bring happiness to his village. Along the way, he encounters gods and demons... Soon, he finds out that the evil serpent has stolen the Water, so he makes his way to the serpent's palace. Defeating the serpent is no easy task, because it uses the Water of Life to revive itself. This boy—Maegami Tarou—presses on with his brave quest, working together with various creatures and the gods.
