Synopsis
Rinne Rokudou has more pressing concerns than attending high school—namely, guiding spirits to the afterlife. This duty leaves him perpetually broke, struggling to afford food, clothing, and exorcism supplies. Sakura Mamiya has possessed the ability to see ghosts since childhood. She hoped she would eventually grow out of it, but even after entering high school, nothing changed. To make matters worse, the first time her habitually absent classmate Rinne shows up for class, only Sakura can see him. Naturally, she assumes he is a ghost. Yet, to her surprise, Rinne attends school as usual the next day. Kyoukai no Rinne follows Sakura as she discovers Rinne's true identity and the hidden supernatural realm that exists alongside the ordinary world.
