Synopsis
Adapted from the yonkoma manga of the same title by Masashi Ueda, which was serialized in Weekly Manga Action, this series chronicles the hilarious daily antics of Kariage-kun. His life is a series of embarrassing blunders, such as announcing to a public park via PA system that he is suffering from hemorrhoids, thereby shaming his department head. In another instance, he disappoints an entire district by posting a notice for a fireworks display, only to personally hold a single small firework as the actual show. While his department head is his usual target, anyone or anything can fall prey to his irony and sarcasm. The narrative unfolds without a traditional plot structure, instead being arranged chronologically to follow the changing seasons.
