Synopsis
In the tranquil countryside, far removed from the city's constant activity, lies the small village of Asahigaoka, home to just one candy store and a single bus route. While this quiet life isn't for everyone, the local children still find joy in exploring and playing in the surrounding nature. Among them is Renge Miyauchi, the youngest in the group, who eagerly anticipates the upcoming school entrance ceremony—her first step into first grade and the start of her elementary school journey. At the village's only school, Renge spends her days with her friends: seventh grader Natsumi Koshigaya and her eighth-grade sister Komari, making the most of their rural life through daily play and study. Meanwhile, fifth grader Hotaru Ichijou has just relocated to Asahigaoka from Tokyo, unaware of the countless adventures and memories that lie ahead of her.
