Synopsis
This animated work stems from a dream in which white smoke billowed from a bed. Inspired by Zhuangzi’s concept of the butterfly dream, the piece explores the tension between dreams and reality. Although the creator did not initially intend for the sleeping man to resemble anyone specific, he ultimately bore a striking likeness to their grandfather.
