Synopsis
Once thought to have vanished, ninjas have resurfaced in modern-day Japan after the Pacific War. With an estimated two hundred thousand members, these lethal operatives now carry out secret missions and have embedded themselves across many of the nation's public and private organizations. One such ninja is Kurou Kumogakure, a 17-year-old who typically whiles away his time in a shabby apartment, lacking any drive to do anything productive. To some, he might appear to be a useless slacker who does nothing more than swipe beer from his neighbor. However, this loser may be far more formidable than his outward appearance suggests. Kurou's hidden abilities are put to the test when he receives a fresh assignment: infiltrate a local high school. Yet, this task holds far more than he could ever anticipate.
