Synopsis
After being rescued from thugs by the outgoing Haru Tennouji, the socially awkward technology specialist Manabu "Gaku" Taira discovers they get along well. Years later, Gaku, who struggles to find employment due to his timid nature, is persuaded by Haru to apply for a position alongside him at Dragon Bank, one of Japan's largest IT companies. During their interviews, the company's board director, Kirika Kokuryuu, becomes intrigued by the contrasting personalities of Haru and Gaku. However, Gaku is not hired by the company, prompting Haru to quit on his first day in protest. Nevertheless, the two decide to pursue an ambitious plan: making a trillion dollars. To bring their scheme to life, Haru and Gaku seek out potential investors, but everyone turns down their extravagant idea. Despite this, they soon receive an offer from Kirika—and with her investment, they might just be able to achieve their goal.
