Synopsis
A youthful kendo prodigy, Ranmaru Samejima, catches the eye of Kei Enjoji, the illegitimate son of a yakuza boss. Determined to build a connection with Ranmaru, Kei fosters a friendship grounded in trust and self-sacrifice, which gradually deepens into love. After Ranmaru saves Kei from a yakuza hit-and-run attack, he is forced to abandon kendo forever, leaving the two with nothing but their faith in each other. Swearing to stand by one another far from the yakuza underworld, they begin living together as a couple. Yet when a mysterious figure from their past reappears in search of Ranmaru, they are pulled back into the world they struggled to escape—and their love may not prove strong enough to withstand it.
