Synopsis
A year ago, a UFO carrying 150 aliens crash-landed off the coast of Kasai. With no way to repair their vessel, the Japanese government granted them the title "DearS" and integrated them as citizens, teaching them the nation's language and customs. To further their immersion in human society, a home-stay program was introduced to facilitate interaction. One foggy morning, a truck transporting a capsule containing one of these aliens accidentally drops it by the riverbank, freeing her. She is later discovered by high school student Takeya Ikuhara, who rescues her from an oncoming truck. Despite his deep distrust of their kind and desire to avoid them, he takes pity on her. After he names her Ren, she imprints on him as her "Master" and becomes his personal "Slave," stubbornly insisting on staying by his side and ending his once ordinary, alien-free life.
