Synopsis
After a severe car accident, Joe Shimamura is abducted by mysterious figures who transport him to the Black Ghost organization, a group that fuels global conflicts to reap financial rewards from the resulting wars. There, Joe undergoes a transformation into Cyborg 009, a highly powerful artificial human. Refusing to be used as tools of destruction, 009 and his fellow cyborgs rise up against their creators and flee to pursue a peaceful existence. However, Black Ghost is determined to prevent their intended superweapons from escaping, leading to a relentless pursuit.
