Synopsis
A farmer in Australia brings a baby named Georgie home from the forest. Growing up, Georgie remains unaware of the dark secret linked to the gold bracelet she always wears. Her father and her two brothers, Abel and Arthur, shower her with affection, but her mother views her as an outsider and cannot warm to the girl. As Georgie matures into a lovely young woman, both brothers develop deep romantic feelings for her. Ignorant of the truth, she eventually falls for the handsome grandson of the British governor. When her mother finally reveals the secret and denounces Georgie as the daughter of an exile, she departs for Britain to find her biological parents—and the young man she loves, who has also left Australia. Abel and Arthur follow her, and the three become entangled in the harsh world of London's aristocracy, rife with deception and schemes.
