Synopsis
High school student Yuuichi Katagiri deeply values his tight-knit group of friends, which includes four classmates: Yutori Kokorogi, Shiho Sawaragi, Makoto Shibe, and Tenji Mikasa. When the money meant for the class field trip goes missing, Shiho and Makoto—who were in charge of collecting it—begin to drift apart from the rest of the class. Not long after, Yuuichi and his friends are tricked into meeting up and are knocked out by unknown attackers. Upon waking, they find themselves trapped in a white room alongside the controversial figure Manabu-kun. He reveals that one of the five has brought them together to settle a personal debt of twenty million yen. To repay the amount, they must take part in a series of psychological games that will put the strength of their friendship and their humanity to the test. Feeling distressed and cut off from the outside world, Yuuichi and his friends must cooperate to get through the games. However, as their hidden emotions and troubled histories start to emerge, their once unbreakable bond may soon fall apart beyond repair.
