Synopsis
According to legend, after the Earth was destroyed, the great clockmaker Y crafted a replacement world out of gears and cogs. Naoto Miura is a boy who dreams of becoming a master clockmaker, yet despite his extraordinary ability to understand clockwork mechanisms through sound alone, he has made little headway. That changes when a coffin crashes into his apartment, carrying RyuZU, a female automaton created by Y himself. The arrival of RyuZU draws Marie Bell Breguet, the talented heir to a renowned clockmaker lineage, and her cyborg bodyguard Vainney Halter into Naoto's orbit. As Naoto and Marie become caught up in a fierce battle for survival, they uncover a disturbing reality: the clockwork planet that has sustained humanity for over a thousand years is beginning to fail—a secret that certain individuals are willing to kill to keep hidden.
