Synopsis

Kirino Kousaka, a passionate otaku, has come back to Japan and is trying to resume her everyday life with her family and friends. But she keeps ignoring her older brother Kyousuke, even though he went out of his way to help her before. This coldness bothers Kyousuke, who worries that getting Kirino to quit track and field in America and come home might have hurt their relationship. Making things more complicated, Kyousuke has to figure out a mysterious message from Ruri "Kuroneko" Gokou, who is both his underclassman at school and a friend of Kirino's. As the bonds between the siblings and their group grow stronger, Kirino and Kyousuke have to deal with their changing relationships and face how they really feel. Even with all this personal conflict, Kirino still makes time to enjoy her otaku interests with her brother.
