Synopsis
Set in a realm perpetually drenched in black rain where citizens rely on umbrellas for safety, the story follows a man who discards his umbrella and is instead granted a unique green plant, the sole instance of its color in that monochromatic world. His possession of this rare item incites intense desire among the populace, leading to a chaotic scramble to acquire it. This short film was created in 2016 by Wenrui Huang as part of her first-year studies in the Animation Department of the Graduate School of Film and New Media at Tokyo University of the Arts.
