Synopsis
Is it possible for a romance between an ordinary university student and an idol singer to endure? That is the central question explored in White Album. Touya Fujii is a typical college student with everyday concerns—chiefly juggling his coursework and the part-time job he uses to fund his education. He also worries about the time he gets to spend with Yuki Morikawa, or more accurately, the lack of it. As a rising idol singer, Yuki faces her own set of challenges. Though she has yet to reach the fame of seasoned veteran Rina Ogata, Yuki is gaining attention and landing television interviews. This might seem like a positive development, but not everyone is pleased with the media spotlight and Rina's interest in her. The idol world is surprisingly ruthless, and rival performers are keeping a close watch on Yuki. While it might appear thrilling to see your girlfriend on television, how does Touya truly feel about the situation? Between the difficulties stemming from Yuki's career and the various people Touya encounters at his university, their relationship may not endure.
