Synopsis

Kokone Morikawa suffers from a peculiar condition that blurs the line between her dreams and reality, making the two nearly indistinguishable. While she is an ordinary high school student in the real world, focused on her university entrance exams, her dreams cast her as a magical princess in Heartland, a futuristic society powered by machines where artificial intelligence is strictly prohibited. Inside this dream realm, Kokone uncovers truths about her family’s history and a secret her father, a skilled mechanic, has worked hard to shield her from. As the boundaries between the two worlds begin to merge, she is forced to defend this hidden truth from antagonists who are as dangerous in their dreams as they are in the waking world.
