Super Mario Brothers: Great Mission to Rescue Princess Peach

Synopsis

In the film, Mario and Luigi run a grocery store. One night, Mario is absorbed in playing his Famicom when the screen goes blank. Princess Peach appears on the TV, crying for help as enemies attack her, and then leaps out of the television. Mario falls in love with her at first sight and promises to protect her. Shortly after, Koopa appears on the TV screen and begins emerging from it. He grabs Princess Peach and pulls her back into the television. Mario then notices a small brooch that Peach left behind on the floor. The next day, the brooch Peach dropped becomes a source of worry for Mario. Luigi immediately spots the brooch and identifies it as the "Visionary Jewel from the Country of Treasure." Soon, Kibidango, a small dog-like creature, wanders into the store and notices Mario holding Peach's brooch. It snatches the brooch away from Mario, angering him, which starts his and Luigi's pursuit of Kibidango into the Mushroom Kingdom.
