Synopsis
The VENUS Program is a completely impartial idol ranking system that utilizes AI and data to assess candidates based on multiple criteria. To identify the next big stars in the idol world, the annual VENUS Grand Prix is held using these algorithms. Among all the idols who have ever participated, none have been as exceptional as Mana Nagase. However, on the day of the tournament's finals, a sudden tragic accident abruptly ends her career. Kouhei Makino, who once served as Mana's manager, continues working at Hoshimi Productions years after her passing. Seeking to form a new idol group, he holds interviews with various girls. Unexpectedly, one of the applicants is Kotono Nagase, Mana's younger sister, who aims to uphold her sister's legacy under the guidance of her former mentor. Also auditioning is Sakura Kawasaki, whose voice bears an uncanny resemblance to Mana's. Both Kotono and Sakura pass the evaluations and join a group of eight other aspiring young girls. Living together in a shared dormitory, the ten members work to understand what it truly means to function as a cohesive team. United by an ambitious goal, the girls compete their way to the top as they navigate the harsh world of idols.
