Synopsis
Traumatized by witnessing his parents' murder at the hands of a Choushuu member, Ichimura Tetsunosuke seeks strength to fuel his desire for revenge. At fifteen, he approaches the Shinsengumi with the aim of joining their ranks. Yet, Tetsunosuke lacks the skill, mindset, and emotional detachment required to kill without hesitation those who threaten peace. Despite the backing of his brother Tatsunosuke and his new Shinsengumi comrades, Tetsunosuke remains unaware of the bloodshed and suffering he must endure as a member of this historical faction.
