Synopsis
Mercedes Grunewald is reborn as a vampire, the child of a noble father and a concubine who has been cast out. Knowing that her father could easily choose another heir at any time, Mercedes worries about what will become of her family when that day comes. With a powerless mother and an aging maid, their future seems grim. Yet dungeon exploration is available to everyone, even children. To secure their means of living, Mercedes starts training from a very early age. Her vampire heritage gives her the potential to grow powerful. Refusing to let her new life end up as empty as her previous one, she descends into the dungeons, searching for something that will finally give her purpose.
